Narcissistic abuse is a form of emotional abuse characterized by manipulation, exploitation, and emotional mistreatment, often involving a lack of empathy and a focus on self-interest by the abuser. It can leave profound and lasting impacts on a victim's mental health and well-being, potentially leading to trauma, depression, anxiety, and difficulty trusting others

The abuser may criticize, belittle, and isolate the victim from their support system and loved ones, undermining their self-esteem and making it harder for them to seek help.

Narcissists often struggle to understand or acknowledge the feelings and experiences of others, prioritizing their own desires and needs above those of the victim.
